In 1915, the Foresters’ Ball was developed as a scholarship fundraiser in the form of a logging town themed dance held at the University of Montana in Missoula. All proceeds from the dance are turned into scholarships for students who put in at least 80 hours of work. The Foresters’ Ball is fully organized and run by students.
Alex Pollini, a University of Montana Media Arts major documented the 94th Foresters’ Ball during the 2010-2011 school year.
